From Abingdon To East Barnet

We had a good sleep in, a family breakfast and got onto the road by 11:20. I had to figure out how to work the on board satnav and once I did we headed for Thame.

We had a short walk around the old village before heading through Aylesbury. We stopped for a light lunch at The Chandos Arms in Weston Turville. I had Symonds cider and Dave had a wet pale ale. The pub was established in 1842. I had a very peppery potato and leek soup and Dave had a pulled pork sandwich which was served with chips and coleslaw. From there we took the back roads through Chesham, Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead before getting onto the M25 and heading for Talya and Jonathan. We had a short time with them before they went out. We had a simple pasta dinner and a very early night.
